User Experience: A Possible Roadblock to AR Adoption

Graphical User Interfaces proliferated because de-facto standards emerged for the presentation and interaction with information. With AR, gestures and visualization have been brought to the forefront but with no clear "rules of the road". As AR leaves the lab and goes into mobile phones and PCs, whole new types of usability and user experience issues are likely to emerge. This talk explores these issues and discusses possible solutions based on the evolution of past technology shifts.
