His installations have been exhibited around the world, appearing in Siggraph Asia, The Last HOPE, and Innovation Lab's NEXT no. 6. His work has also been featured in Make Blog, O'Reilly Radar, and Wired's Beyond the Beyond blog. His latest work, "Spatial Computing," is an ongoing video series that sketches out a new way of interacting with our home computers, one that uses direct control of digital 3d objects in real space, in real time, with just the use of our hands.

Amber is a Cyborg Anthropologist and corporate consultant. She founded CyborgCamp, a conference on the future of humans and computers. She was previously a blogger for Discovery Channel and worked with Fortune 500 companies at Wieden+Kennedy, a global advertising agency based in Portland, Oregon. Case is known for her skills in data aggregation, interface design, business strategy, and new communication methods. She is currently writing a book on applying anthropological techniques to better understand industry ecosystems. Amber received degrees in Sociology and Anthropology and wrote her thesis on mobile phones and their technosocial sites of engagement.

Anton Yudin was born in Ukraine. After being exposed to a i386 computer his life was never the same. During the next two years he created games, GUI packages, a compiler for his own programming language, and his own multitasking supervisor. A passionate multi-language programmer, he graduated with a BS with dual majors in Computer Science and Information Systems at the Kharkov University Of Radio Electronics. Currently in a Master of Arts program at the Digital Worlds Institute he is researching 3D/VR, and is developing an OS program that blends 3D VR with real-life interaction through a Motion Capture system.

Arturo was SFX Supervisor for SZM, the premier broadcast studio in Munich, Germany, producing visual effects for television series and feature films. He moved to NY where he became Creative Director for R/GA, an Academy Award company. He became VP of Creative at Agency.com in NY where he managed a staff of 90 creatives, including designers and art directors, information architects and copywriters. Arturo has worked in the game industry as a designer and art director for companies such as Electronic Arts, Brøderbund and Sierra Online. His interests include robotics and telepresence and bridging the virtual with the real world.

Di-Ann lives in Palo Alto, by way of Portland, OR, Boston, New York City and Amsterdam as a neogeography pioneer and serial entrepreneur employing all means to increase the world’s citizen mappers. She functions as both Chairman of Platial, The People’s Atlas, and as Community Geographer at Waze. Platial is a widely adopted online social mapping service with approximately 15MM unique users. Waze is free crowd-sourced navigation and real-time traffic. Started in Israel and past critical mass, now has top quality map, navigation and traffic data. Di-Ann is setting up US operations and crafting the cartography of “live mapping”.

Eric Kabisch is an artist, interaction designer, and doctoral candidate in the Department of Informatics at the University of California, Irvine. His current practice investigates the varied intersections between geospatial information technologies and human geography. He builds cultural artifacts that utilize custom software systems, DIY construction and usually emit some form of sound. Through the creation of these artifacts he hopes to reconsider the process of design, enabling novel forms of use to emerge through experimental approaches and interventions into existing technological practices.

Hartmut Neven is a scientist working in computational neurobiology, robotics and computer vision. Neven co-founded two companies, Eyematic and Neven Vision. Neven Vision pioneered mobile visual search and was acquired by Google. Today he manages a team responsible for advancing Google’s visual search technologies and is the lead engineer for Google Goggles. Neven is also researching the use of quantum computing for machine learning. Neven was assistant professor of computer science at the University of Southern California at the Laboratory for Biological and Computational Vision and was the head of the Laboratory for Human-Machine Interfaces at USC’s Information Sciences Institute.

Steven Feiner is Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University, where he directs the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab, and co-directs the Columbia Vision and Graphics Center. Prof. Feiner’s lab created the first mobile augmented reality system using a see-through display in 1996, and pioneered applications of augmented reality to fields such as tourism, journalism, maintenance, and construction. He is coauthor of Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice and of Introduction to Computer Graphics, received an ONR Young Investigator Award, and together with his students, has won best paper awards at ACM UIST, ACM CHI, ACM VRST, and IEEE ISMAR.
